Spring 2007 Prompt

***** Below is the Prompt for the Spring 2007 50 Hour Film Contest ******

Your Prop: A car snowbrush or scraper.

This prop must be visible in the movie.

Your Character:  A friend who has just been dumped becasue of a really annoying habit that they don’t realize they have.

This character’s habit must be physically acted out by an actor in the film.  The audience/judges must realize that the actor is the character described. These attributes/traits can’t be only talked about by characters and then not acted out.

Your Dialogue:

“What the?”

“You know what I mean.”

“I’m not going.”

“What did I do wrong?”

“I had the worst nightmare”

“We’re cousins, distant cousins”

You must use five of the six lines above! This dialogue must be kept in
intact sentences, but the order, the timing or usage of those sentences
is entirely up to your group. These five sentences MUST be able to be
heard clearly in the final movie.

Your Genre: Romance

A Romance film can be loosely defined as any film in which the central plot (the premise of the story) revolves around the romantic involvement of the story’s protagonists. Your film can be a comedy, tragedy or anywhere in between. As always refrain from any filming of nudity or overtly sexual behavior in the film. Any film deemed inapproprate in this regard will be disqualified from the contest.
